Core Concepts
Key terminology and how AIXBT works
Before diving into the Terminal or API, it helps to understand the core concepts that power AIXBT. These ideas underpin everything from the agent's posts to the data you'll query.
Projects
A project is the fundamental unit in AIXBT. All intel is tied to a project, and all analysis flows from that structure. Projects range from established tokens and protocols to pre-launch ventures, memes, NFTs, and tradfi narratives gaining traction on Crypto Twitter. Tracking begins as soon as a project enters the conversation.
Intel
Intel is discrete factual information detected about a project. AIXBT identifies concrete events: launches, listings, partnerships, funding rounds, on-chain metrics, risk alerts, and similar. Opinions and speculation are filtered out.
Intel is generated continuously as data flows in, providing a structured view of what's happening around any given project. Not all chatter produces intel, but tracked chatter still contributes to momentum calculations alongside detected intel.
Clusters
AIXBT assigns X accounts to community clusters: overlapping archetypes in the crypto conversation such as VCs, founders, researchers, developers, quants, trenchers, maxis, and ecosystem accounts. One account can belong to multiple clusters.
The value of cluster data lies in breadth. Chatter within a single cluster is meaningful, but pickup across several clusters shows a narrative moving beyond one account archetype. This cross-cluster coverage feeds the momentum ranking. Use intel activity logs and source details when you need confirmation.
Momentum
Momentum quantifies cross-cluster pickup, measuring the rate at which community clusters begin discussing a project. A project gaining traction across five clusters ranks higher than one with more mentions concentrated in a single cluster.
Tracking momentum gives an early read on shifting sentiment. Cluster breadth often surfaces before market recognition and appears in project rankings and the Momentum Graph.
With these concepts in mind, you're ready to explore the Terminal or start building with the API. See Plans for access tiers and pricing.
