Clusters
Overlapping account archetypes showing who is carrying a conversation
A Cluster is an overlapping account archetype, such as Developer, Researcher, VC, or Trencher. A public account can belong to more than one Cluster. Clusters show which kinds of participants are carrying a conversation.
How to read Clusters
- Membership. One account can belong to several Clusters, so the groups overlap.
- Reach. Activity across more Clusters shows how broadly a story has traveled through different account archetypes.
- Stance. Accounts may support, question, or oppose a story while contributing to its activity.
Where they appear
- Chatter. On Projects and Topics, Chatter shows mention activity by Cluster over time.
- Topic map. The Clusters page shows how live narratives connect to different account archetypes.
- Intel. Cluster coverage shows which archetypes have picked up a development.
